Lynette Hussey

Head of Curriculum and Transition

Lynette has been with the YMCA Vocational Schools for over a decade and prior to that was Principal of another multi-campus Special Assistance School for six years. Lynette has worked at large independent Schools and State Schools and was the founding Head of Campus at our Ipswich Campus.

Lynette is passionate about giving our students access to learning that meets their needs and is of the highest standard.

Robert Bita

Acting Deputy Principal

With over 10 years experience in the education field, Rob came to the Y in 2014. In this time, he has gained extensive experience as a Head of Campus, Head of School and now Deputy Principal. Rob has been part of opening two new sites and developing school culture from the grassroots.

Robert focusses on designing innovative school environments, staff development and fostering positive school culture.

Wellbeing Services Manager

Stephanie Blunt has over 15 years’ experience working in youth support and engagement.

Stephanie has been with the Y since 2014, working in both school and community contexts during this time.

Stephanie is passionate about empowering young people to achieve their potential and is a specialist in trauma-aware practices and inclusive learning communities.

Group Manager

Working at the Y since 2014, Gary has championed the growth of our School and its inter-relationship with the rest of the Y. As such, he has an in-depth knowledge of school governance and replication.
