Build Your Own Content

Thank you for showing an interest in creating a Sample Learning Experience for our young people. Below you will find a number of branded templates to assist you to build your resource. Once you have finished building your content, head to the 'Upload' section at the bottom of this page to upload your content for approval. If approved, we will be sharing it on the Our Way Portal for all YMCA Educators to enjoy.

SOME IMPORTANT POINTS

We will only approve content for publication, if it is relevant to learning outcomes in the current TLAPs. So please ensure you are building with a relevant learning intention in mind.
We will only approve content that uses the latest design templates shown below. So please be sure to download a template from this location each time you go to create a resource as they may be updated from time to time.

Graphic Organisers

Remember the need to have visually appealing learning is very important for our students. (Linguistic and Non-linguistic learning). Click the button on the right to see a collection of branded graphic organisers you can download and print, or head to Canva to go to a template that enables you to edit the graphic organisers to suit your exact needs.

Process For Buiding & Submitting A Sample Learning Experience

Step One: Access Templates

Use the templates above to build your resource.

Step Two: Build Your Resource

If you need any support as you build this resource, you can reach out to your teacher in charge onsite, your HOS / HOC or you can book a coaching session with our Head of Curriculum and Transition. Please remember, every resource built must align to a learning outcome in a current TLAPs. We will not be accepting content that is not aligned to these.

Step Three: Upload Your Resource

Once your resource is ready, click the upload button below. You will be asked to fill in a short form with some details about you and the resources. This form has an upload button enabling you to attach your resources. Please note, there is a 250MB limit on the upload. Once received, your submission will be considered for approval. If approved, you will be notified and it will be uploaded onto the resources portal for others to use. If not approved, it will be because it's not of a standard to share. In which case, you will be told why this decision was made, so you can adjust and resubmit. We see this approval and feedback process, as a great professional development opportunity for all our educators.
